No matter. A couple of minutes of re-work set things straight.

But.. while testing the board I also noticed that the chopper was disturbing the zero point voltage. I fixed that by giving the chopper it's own buffer. That required some substantial changes. The rework wires on the right side are the result.

Note the schematic and PCBs in this post are a new version that includes my rework changes.

And finally it works! After all the tweaks the performance is quite good.

It's pretty rare to completely "finish" a project, but at this point I think I can truly call it done.
